Top-level declarations

The body of both the public and private parts of a module is a sequence of top-level declarations. These declarations comprise

• Kind declarations (declaring the kind of a type (constructor)).
• Type definitions (data and struct types, type classes and type synonyms).
• Type signatures.
• Function bindings.
• Definitions of instances of type classes.
• Default declarations.
